Description

🚨 A new and improved version of this model is now available! Check out the new version here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2309659-teleprompter-for-tablet-phone-or-screen-modular

This teleprompter works with tablets like iPad and Galaxy Tab and other screens of various sizes. The tablet I use is a Samsung SM-T510 with a 10.1" display, but it can hold bigger displays. Put the tablet/screen in the holder and the camera on the mount, and you will be able to read of the mirror image of the tablet from the front while the camera will not see it from the back. It has an Arca Swiss plate at the bottom for attaching to a tripod. The camera is fastened with a 1/4" x 20 screw.

You will need:

  • 1 piece of glass (can be plexiglas/acrylic) 25x20 cm, 2mm thick.
  • 16 pieces of M4 screw and nut.
  • 1 piece of 1/4" x 20, 12 mm long screw to hold the camera.
  • 1 piece of black cloth.
  • 2 pieces of paperclip to hold the cloth.

I recommend printing the models in black PETG.

To show the teleprompt I recommend the free Teleprompter Mirror site.

Assembly:

The original model has a video which show the assembly, it is basically the same as for this remix, see this link. In this remix the frames are in one piece, and the top is in two pieces. You optionally glue the two top pieces together with CA glue to make it easier to remove the top.

The construction is modular so you can for example only change the screen holder arms, or only the camera mount, it the ones provided does not fit your need.

This model is a remix of this one. The main changes made were:

  • Adapt to standard M4 screws/nuts
  • Increase sturdiness of the frame
  • Adapt/split all parts for simple print on X1C.
