Description

Do you love vinyl? Of course, you do – you're classy, timeless, and probably smell faintly of leather-bound books. But where do you put your beloved records when they're not spinning? On the coffee table? Under the couch? Balanced precariously on a pile of old magazines? Stop the madness!

Introducing the MultiVinyl Modular System, a 3D-printable solution to display your vinyl records in all their groovy glory. Whether you want a sleek stand for your "Now Playing" LP or a wall mount to showcase your prized collection, this modular system has you covered. It's based on the fantastic Multiboard, so chances are high you can re-use some of the parts you might have already 3D printed.

What’s Included:

  • Feet with Style: Available in three angles (75°, 77°, 80°), because your vinyl deserves the perfect lean.
  • Bottom Mounts: Comes in three sizes – 6mm (for slim albums), 9mm (for your standard hits), and 13mm (for those chunky deluxe editions).
  • Top Mounts: Keeps your vinyl steady, also in 6mm, 9mm, and 13mm.
  • Clip-On Signs: Add flair to your display with a "Now Playing" sign or other custom messages. (find them in the Signs and custom bottom mount in default size print profile)
  • Custom Tiles: Form the sturdy backbone of your vinyl-supporting masterpiece.

Pre-Made Combos (Because Decisions Are Hard):

  1. Combo 1 – The Minimal Stand: A free-standing, no-fuss option for the purists.
  2. Combo 2 – The High Stand: A taller, more stable stand with an optional top mount for extra security (and extra vibes).
  3. Combo 3 – The Wall Mount: Turn your vinyl into wall art! Just don’t hang “Disco Duck” – we have standards.

These combos include the default 9mm mounts and a 77° foot angle, but if you’re feeling adventurous, you can mix and match parts from the All parts and sizes print profile to create your own Frankenstein display. Got leftover Multiboard parts? Use them, too – sustainability never looked this good.

Why Print It, and How?

Because your records deserve better than dusty shelves or that sketchy stack by your turntable. The MultiVinyl Modular System is sleek, functional, and endlessly customizable. It’s like bricks for grown-ups who still cry over the crackle of a good analog track. The included print profiles have aligned the parts in their optimal positions, some with minimal supports needed. I recommend using a basic PLA filament. PLA matte can be used too, but it is less sturdy compared to normal PLA, so parts will wear out quicker (if you change them a lot). PLA+ can be used too, but parts will snap very firmly.

New to Multiboard?

In case you are new to Multiboard, you might want to check out this video. There is no need to print Learning Pack mentioned in the video, but it will give you a good idea of the capabilities. Be aware the Multiboard snaps into place pretty firmly, I recommend to print the Offset Snaps Removal Tool to quickly disassemble and change your layout.
