Description
Description for the 3D Model:
This 3D model was created as a replacement for the faucet on my daughter's IKEA Duktig play kitchen after her original faucet was damaged.
I printed it using PLA Silk filament to match the handles I previously designed for her kitchen. Using adaptive layer heights resulted in noticeable color shifts, but others may have better results by using a different filament or tweaking the settings to minimize the top surface texture.
The faucet prints in three parts and features snap connectors for assembly. However, I chose to add glue during assembly to ensure a secure and durable fit. Additionally, I had to adjust my support distance to be slightly closer to resolve issues with holes forming in the print.
