FEATHER LOC 2 Sliding Vise for Table Saw T-Track
Print Profile(2)

Description
A FeatherLoc is a supporting clamp designed to secure wood pieces during table saw cuts, enhancing safety and precision. This tool is particularly useful to avoid holding pieces by hand while they pass over the blade, thus minimizing the risk of accidents. It significantly reduces “kickback,” the situation where the workpiece is ejected from the table saw, jeopardizing safety.
The FeatherLoc features a clamp-style construction that firmly attaches to the table saw’s miter gauge, holding the pieces securely during cuts. The system is designed for easy adaptation to varying material thicknesses and positioning along the table saw to provide optimal support without impeding workpiece movement.
The FeatherLoc is an indispensable tool for table saw users, increasing safety, precision, and efficiency in cutting operations.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
HANDLE: The handle is designed to accommodate an M5 NUT during printing. Therefore, a pause at layer 81 is required (printing with a layer height of 0.16).

SLIDER: For the slider that fits into your table saw’s miter track, you must print it flat and add supports (preferably tree supports) and then remove them after printing.
HARDWARE: (2X M5X25 SCREWS and 2X M5 NUTS) The required screws are shown in the images; for proper functionality, the screw must match the one depicted (easily found at a hardware store or home improvement center).
This is the 2.0 version of the first FEATHER LOC I designed, which can be found on my profile. It isn’t superior, but simply more compact and can be used in conjunction with the first FEATHER LOC, found here: https://makerworld.com/it/models/856693#profileId-806118
