Description

This is a fully functioning combination lock designed to resemble the look of a heart. You can decide which wheels to print to determine the unlocking combination.

The complete lock, with all color changes and components, takes only 2.5 hours to print and uses 41g of filament (22g for the lock and 19g for filament purge).

You choose the combination for the lock by selecting the wheels you will print. All the wheels have a little hole on the side where the number is located. Additionally, in the side menu, if you choose "Objects" under a plate where all the wheels are already placed, you can see the name of each wheel corresponds to the number it represents.

There are a few design options:

  1. 1  Plain heart with no words
  2. 2  Heart with the word "love"
  3. 3  Heart with the word "love" and extra details around

Assembly VIDEO + INSTRUCTIONS BELOW:

  1. Remove all the brim around the lock and axle part.
  2. Take the three printed number wheels and position them so that the numbers are oriented correctly like on a finished lock, then stack them on top of each other.
  3. Place the three number wheels into the cutout square in the heart body.
  4. Take the wheel axle and push it into the wheels from the top of the heart to lock them in place.
  5. Set the combination on the wheels you have printed to unlock the lock.
  6. Place the lock part into the heart, and you're done.
