Description

Stackable Shoe Rack

There are several similar designs already. That said, I just didn't love the aesthetic of any of them that I saw, so I created this one.

I used a simple two color design, simply changing the color at certain layer levels. This results in just 2 filament changes for the main piece, and 1 change for the top piece. Resulting look is simple, clean and does not take a lot of extra time (or filament) to do changes.

This is designed in such a way that the posts easily go into the next layer, but with a light push becomes very snug and wont wobble between pieces.

Use whatever colors you wish, I've included the ones I've used if you like that look.

Slice it: When you open this first in Bambu Studio it will appear as a solid base. In order to see the Honeycomb, make sure that you are Slicing the model (press Preview in Bambu Studio) . The .3MF has a modifier in it which will tell Bambu how to print the model and expose the Honeycomb infill as shown in the pictures.

Update: Added a Heavy Duty Profile (shown with Red accent color in photos). This increases the shelf thickness to 10mm and adds an additional 25mm of height. I've also made the colored collar a bit thicker as well as the border thicker. This creates a lot of extra stability and strength. I tested it with a brand new box of 1KG filament to show the support of the shelf. I've maintained the pole sizes so the two profiles can be mixed and matched. For my own use I'm using the Heavy Duty profile as the bottom piece and the Standard one for each additional level as the heavier bottom one will create additional stability for the whole stack.

Update: Added Heavy Duty Tall Profile as per request. This brings the overall height to 255mm. In that profile I've also included a “drip tray” version as requested.

Update: Added a Short version which is 30mm shorter as requested.
