Model Introduction

• The model measures approximately 237mm in length and 35mm in width when assembled. The handle is designed for multi-color printing, allowing for customized color selection.
• The blade utilizes 80% infill for both aesthetics and durability.
• Securely adhere the inner handle section and eight outer patches using adhesive.
• Multiple sizes of pins are provided to accommodate various handle opening angles. Select and install the pin that best suits your preference.

2025-6-30 Update: Enhanced blade with 80% infill for improved robustness

2025-5-23 Update: Elimination of filament holes; using printed parts for handle fixation

The filament holes on the original inner handle lining proved too small, hindering the insertion of filament for securing. The design now employs printed parts to secure the lining and handle.

A small pin (blade stop) has been added to the first configuration. Three sizes are now available.

2025-2-2 Update: Addition of smaller pin configuration (already integrated into the first configuration; select your preferred fit)

Smaller pins have been added to reduce the gap when the handle is closed. Two sizes are available, allowing you to choose the best fit.

To my understanding, butterfly knives do not fully close to prevent accidental injury.

2025-1-26 Update: Addition of multi-color blade configuration

The multi-color blade is designed for horizontal bi-section printing at a 0.12mm layer height and 7 walls. The gold-black in the image demonstrates the print result, while the green shows the non-multi-color blade print.

Horizontally printed blades require no supports, resulting in a more robust structure less prone to breakage compared to vertically printed, supported blades. However, the aesthetic effect differs between the two, so choose the configuration that suits your preference.
