Kitchen Gridfinity: Modular Knife Block (2 slots)

You can now create custom knife blocks and handle holders directly on MakerWorld by clicking the “Customize” button. 

This set contains 36 different sizes of knife block with 2 regular sized slots to hold your knives. It goes all the way from 1x1 to 1x6 (width x length) and from 3u to 8u tall. 

Alternatively, you can get all 36 sizes as a double-wide block with three slots.

These modular Gridfinity knife holders are a flexible way to keep your knives organized. With 36 combinations of knife holder for all manner of blade heights and lengths they’re easy to adapt to your needs. Designed to fit into your Gridfinity system while keeping everything accessible. There are two print profiles available: “textured” has a Hilbert to layer, and “smooth” a more standard monotonic line.

The examples in the pictures are  printed with Elegoo Matte Black PLA, textured print profile, and are of the 3-slotted version. This model is only 2 slots and an adaptation of the original 3-slot variant.

Important:

Before you spend a lot of time and filament printing any part of the modular knife holder, please first only print the ‘Tester’ print profile to ensure compatibility with your knives. The slots in all sizes are the same (with part removed from the top on the smaller sizes), so in the tester, your knives should slide down all the way.
