Description
This is an updated version (V2.0) of my air vent https://makerworld.com/en/models/150896
With this new variant, I can more easily accommodate customization requests
No Supports
As with the previous version, no supports are needed for printing
Adhesion
If you have good adhesion with the chosen material and preferred print bed, you don't need a collar (brim)
In two out of three tests, it worked for me without a brim
If adhesion still causes problems, you can try "Brim Ears" They have been available since version 1.10
in Bambu Studio
And with that, you only mark the ends of the ribs on both sides to prevent lifting during printing
(However, some post-processing is then necessary)
Gluing
The model is printed in one piece, so no glue is needed
Variants
There are three variants (Default/Normal, Flat/Flach, High/Hoch), where in addition to
the height, another attribute was always changed
Dimensions
The outer diameter of the wall connection (all three variants) is configured to 76mm and comes out after printing
at about 75.4mm This allows the grille to fit very well
Towards the wall, the diameter is reduced to 74mm, so that the grille can be inserted more easily into the opening
Further Improvements
The new variant also has an external ring
which should provide more support (e.g., for ceiling mounting)
