Description
I love storing my filament in cereal dry boxes I got off Amazon, but I really dislike how messy the beads can be, getting stuck into the filament and the holes in the spools. So I designed this air-permeable standoff that keeps my filament out of the beads. Link to the cereal boxes I use are in the BOM area below (Wildone brand, 4L airtight storage container). Tray has 5/8" (16mm) tall legs to keep from sinking into the beads. For a taller or shorter leg height, I suggest downloading and just scaling the z-axis. Fits up to 3x trays on an X1 / P1 / A1 sized bed, and 1x on an A1 Mini if angled 45deg.
