Oil Tank / Diesel Tank

Part of a Series

This oil tank is part of a series of several models (primarily workshop equipment) that I designed for my locomotive shed (N scale) I will gradually release further models

The Model

I still needed a large tank for oil or diesel in my locomotive shed The tank consists of a large container resting on two concrete bases It has two pipes connecting the tank to the pump at the top center and the oil extraction device in the front center A rectangular and a round instrument for reading the fill level are visible at the extraction point I estimate the tank has a capacity of approximately 7000-10000 liters

I printed the model in a single color, as otherwise the printing time would be far too long You are welcome to paint the individual tank components in Bambu Slicer using the “Fill” option and thus print them in multiple colors

The model measures approximately 34 x 15 x 18 mm (scale 1:160 or N scale) However, it can easily be resized in Bambu Slicer to fit the scale of H0 (1:87) or TableTop etc

Instructions

Since the model is very small and delicate printing with a 02mm nozzle is absolutely essential!

If printed with a larger nozzle, many details will be lost or not printed at all The print profile does not include an AMS option; this can be adjusted as needed
