This is a lightweight redesign, suitable for A1 mini, can handle single pair and double pairs, easy to scale and saves a lot of filament. For size requests, leave them in the comments. If you wish for modular brand utilities (branding titles), feel free to ask for them in the comments.

 

Lightweight redesign of my adjustable shoe rack. This redesign features a simpler design, tighter tolerances and utilities interface. It also features a simple pattern to decrease filament waste and ensures a proper structure. 

 

This redesign also supports two pairs, instead of one pair at the cost of 140g. The least minimal version costs around 80-90g (with optional utilities).

What does this redesign fix?

  • Less filament usage
  • Interface for utilities (pull tab & stopper)
  • Easy to scale.
  • Minimal approach.
  • Takes less space
    • Nuts are hollow
    • Rotation is being done at the end of the plate, where the shoes reach
    • Screws are snap fit

Notes

  • The nuts are optional, the screws have tight tolerance and stay snap-fit. 
  • Print time is less than 4 hours.
  • Compare your average shoes' width before printing your size, so that you print a generic solution for your needs.
  • The utilities (pull, stopper, screw, nut) are universal and work for any size.

  • Size 0: width 85mm, 73g
  • Size 1: width 100mm, 78g
  • Size 2: width 125mm, 92g
  • Size 3: width 160mm, 107g
  • Size 4: width 200mm (not for A1 mini), 146g

     

Setup: 

  • Print your size
  • Insert the screw into one of the sides and push it

     

  • Place the screw into the other side

  • OPTIONAL
    • Use the nuts to tighten the screws (they're hollow to avoid taking space)

    • Use the top stopper to prevent shoes from slipping

    • Use the bottom pull tab to pull the shoes easily
