Description

*** Update 28.09.25:
The pre assembled “Complete stackable shelf” has now the announced 80 mm space in height for your spools. Before I had uploaded an older version which was ~70 mm high. Now the model is as described. I´m sorry for any inconvenience.
***

This is a simple and stackable filament storage shelf. Designed to reach a shorter printing time and to use less material for one shelf. To show that it still has enough strength, I put two nearly full spools on it on one picture.

If you print the modular version - shelves and columns seperate - keep in mind, that all part will have a tight fit for a good hold. You can wiggle the parts apart or press one part against the other to detach them again. Assembling and disassembling will tear a bit material away, and the parts will come apart a little bit easier.

Dimensions:

Outer 252 mm width x 205 mm depth x 95,1 mm height (-10 mm height, if you stack them)

Inner 222 mm width x 205 mm depth x 80 mm height
It fits for example a Bambu Lab filamentbox with spool

Good to know: The designer World of prints has made a lid (Link), which should fit in my filament shelf. Hop over to his design and print it to cover your filament from dust 😉

Model infos:

  • Print only the “standalone” columns with support

  • Print the multiple shelves with 100% infill to get a full top and bottom layer for all shelves

  • Print the caps when you reach the top shelf. The caps are closing the top and locking the shelf in place.

  • Print the feets if you want to close the open bottom and lift the shelf 10mm off the floor.
