Bicycle Double Windmill

Small decoration for bicycles.

My children love riding bicycles, so to add some fun, I designed and 3D printed a double windmill decoration. The two windmills rotate in different directions and at different speeds. They can be printed in different colors, creating various special effects at different wind speeds or riding speeds.

• The lower U-shaped clamp (or C-shaped clamp) is suitable for fixing to 22mm diameter tubes.
• Besides this creation, I also designed and printed a counting windmill.

Assembly is relatively simple, as shown in the figure below. Note that the smaller the axial range of motion of the windmill, the smoother the rotation is usually, but too small may prevent it from turning. The axial gap can be adjusted via the "axial positioning ring". When tightening the windmill and the axial positioning ring, it is recommended to clamp 4 sheets of A4 paper (fold the A4 paper twice), then remove the paper after tightening, the gap is quite suitable, tested.
