My child adores Mario Kart 8 on the Nintendo Switch.

I previously purchased two Joy-Con wheels from JD, but he struggled to use them effectively, so I designed a wheel mount to enhance his gameplay experience. Printed in a single pass using Bambu Lab A1 and PLA filament.

This wheel mount requires no assembly, although the fit is quite snug (to prevent the wheel from wobbling) a little force may be needed.

The wheel is affixed to the mount using hot glue.

March 8th Update:

Increased the radius of the circular opening in the main body by 0.1, and the length, width, and height of the square opening in the base by 0.3 for easier installation. Prints as a single piece.

July 2nd Update:

Increased the length, width, and height of the square opening in the base by 0.2. Incorporated a cross-shaped locking mechanism into the adapter (thanks to a suggestion from 独落苍幕), added adapters with varying angles, and included two thicknesses of retaining pins.

PS: I've also created a version with a centering function; please see the linked file (requires rubber bands).

July 17th Addition:

A revised version including the steering wheel is now available; please see the linked file.
