Description
UPDATED 1-7-24: a few people reported that the original design caused collision with the print head at the uppermost extent of travel. I apologize for this oversight and hope no more prints are affected. As of today I have updated the design with the following improvements:
- Moved cable guide section back to prevent collision with Z-axis at top possible travel as verified by manual movement (see photos)
- Made back section thinner so cable can be more easily slid in/out, and beveled cable entryway to be gentler on it
- Made whole part uniform width to eliminate bridge section, should print cleaner
- Slightly smaller, less material, faster print time
- Enlarged Bambu Lab logo so it prints cleaner
Original description:
Wanted a cable guide for the black cable on the front of the A1 since I saw it get snagged a few times and wanted to stop it from happening again. As designed, it is slightly loose on the top rail so it can slide freely if you want it to. Alternately if you want it to remain fixed in place, you can add some paper or tape to the inside before you slide it on, and it will stay snug. 3mf file is configured for A1 with 0.4 nozzle and textured PEI plate
