Secure Click-Lock Mechanism
This mechanism lets the lid snap in place securely while still being easy enough to remove without having to apply too much force. It is compatible with all boxes that feature a Gridfinity compatible edge along the top. Make sure to choose the compatible click rail size by measuring the thickness of the rail as pictured in the image below.

As an entry point for newcomers, I took the measurements for some popular bins already. Feel free to reach out to me to get more boxes on the list.
- Box Model → Rail Height
- Gridfinity Ultra Light Bins → 0.6 mm
- Gridfinity Rebuilt → 1.2 mm
- Gridfinity Extended → 1.2 mm
- Ultimate Gridfinity Bins → 1.4 mm
- … → …
If the box includes a 3D printed label, you can reduce the length of the click rail by specifying the width of the label. In this case, make sure only to include rails in either X or Y direction, not both.
Customizable to Any Size — Even Fractions of Grid Units
Many boxes come in non-standard widhts of 1½ units for example. That's not an issue with this lid! With the parametric model, you are free to choose any dimensions you like, no matter if it's 1 or 2 or π.
Stackable Grid on Top with optional Magnet Holes
Make your boxes truly stackable! Even if large boxes claim to be stackable, it can be a challenge to stack smaller boxes on top without sacrificing stability. With the ANYLID, that's not an issue anymore. The top grid functions just as any regular baseplate, creating endless possibilities to stack boxes on top of each other. And for those who like using magnets for increased snappyness, I've got you covered as well ;)
1U Height to stay in-System
Each lid adds exactly 1 unit of height to your bin. A 3U bin with a lid on top is as tall as a 4U bin without a lid. That makes it easy and effortless to mix and match any combination of boxes and still end up with a planar top surface.
