Description

50mm Hose Connector with manual inline Shutter

Here is my last (at least at a moment) accessory for 50mm Hose Exhaust system. All parts (accessories) can be found here

In this model You will find two types of Hose connectors:

  1. Wall mountable with Shutter (2 different lever oriented. Check plate description)
  2. Simple Hose to Hose with Shutter

Recently I got new BambuLab Supertac Cool Plates and was very excited. For some reason prints on them are warping like hell. No issue on PEI plates. So I made custom plate supports to prevent warping if it is an issue for you. Helps me perfectly. Here is what I mean.  Supports are painted orange on picture. Just cut/snap them off after print:

Here is assembling view of Shutter

Assemble Shutter Part together, place in groves between between connector sides and screw them together. But make sure You have placed shutter in right direction or other way You will not be able to completely close shutter. It's easy to check direction. Put all together and try to turn shutter open and close and You will see is it closing or not. Shaft bumps should face to Side with screws and flat side of shaft should face a Side with Nuts.

I do recommend to glue square shutter in place. Make sure You can push it in fully (square parts should fully get in square holes of Shutter and lever). If not, probably You will have to clean those holes. Same as for round hole in shutter. As for round shaft I do like to use a 3mm steel dowel which you can get from  Maker Supplies, but if You don't have or don't want to use extra side supply You can print out last plate in profile which contain a printable shaft. All You have to do there is to cut printing stabilizers from both sides of shaft. As for other materials needed are 4x M3x16 Hex Socket screws and Nuts for them. And as for Wall mounting You can use M4 screws of Type You need in Your case. Personally I use ones I got from Amazon, but You can use ones from Maker Supplies. Check Materials needed below.
