Ceiling mounted clothes dryer
Print Profile(1)

Description
I made a system for hanging clothes to dry on the ceiling. Simply loosen the sphere from the wall attachment and lower the bar to hang clothes to dry. Then move it out of the way by raising it to the ceiling and secure it with the spheres on the rope.
I did print everything with standard PLA and it seems strong enough. All the parts can be printed without support, but for a smoother surface on the ball bearing wheels, I added support. The spheres for the rope need some brims to stay attached to the printbed. All these options are enabled in the added Bambu Studio-project.
For this system to work you also need:
- 5 ball bearings with a diameter of 22 mm/0.87 inches
- 2 M8 bolts of 30 mm/1,18 inches with nuts
- 1 M8 bolt of 20 mm/0,79 inches with nut
- a few meters of 4 mm/0,16 inches rope
- 7 wood screws
If you want, you can use the following parts for the rod where the clothes can be hung. Use the G-code file in the folder: optional rod for this.
- a 2-meter-long closet rod with a diameter of 25 mm/0,98 inches
- 2 M4 bolts of 12 mm/0,47 inches with nuts
After printing all the parts the next step is to attach everything. I bought all the parts at Hornbach.
