Red Baron Fokker D1
Print Profile(1)

Description
Baron von Richthofen was considered the last knight of the air.
Better known as the “Red Baron,” he fought in the First World War. He was respected by both his enemies and allies, and considered the most successful fighter pilot of his time. With his aircraft, the “Fokker Dr.1,” he was both feared and admired.
This is my homage to the last knight of the air.
I have constructed this model to scale, ensuring the wingspan and fuselage maintain the correct proportions relative to the original. It retains the characteristic features of the Fokker DR.1, such as the superimposed triple-wing configuration and the predominantly red coloring.
I hope you enjoy this small piece of aviation history.
This small model airplane is easy to assemble; however, a small amount of super glue is needed at the joints. Assembly instructions will be provided as an attachment upon request.
