IKEA 365+ Print & Dry Box with AMS Lite Spool Holder

This model enables direct printing from a dry box using the AMS Lite rotating spool holders. This preserves all the advantages of the AMS Lite—including its ingenious filament retraction.

This remix was specifically designed because the original model did not support the AMS Lite rotating spool holder.

The IKEA 365+ 10.6L Box provides a cost-effective, universal solution perfectly suited for a dry box. Many models already utilize this box; however, a version supporting AMS Lite rotating spool holders and enabling direct printing from the box was lacking. My design addresses this precisely!

Existing solutions, such as the “Ultimate Filament Spool Enclosure Seal for AMS Lite” design, are not completely airtight—humidity increases rapidly, causing the filament to absorb moisture and lose quality. A complete enclosure for the AMS Lite would be cumbersome and expensive.
