This spiral orb model, inspired by Bambu's filament display page, comes with an expandable display stand. The curved surfaces of the orb showcase filaments' colors and reflections under various lighting conditions. The model is also suitable as a desktop ornament.
The spiral orb uses a rotating vase print mode; a single orb prints in about 12 minutes. A single display base prints in about 9 minutes, using 6g of material. The display base is pre-designed with space for filament color codes, allowing for customization. Multicolor printing of the display base can be achieved via AMS automatic color changes or by pausing the print manually to change filaments, or you can use a white model and paint it yourself.
The display stand offers three expansion tools: a dovetail fastener for horizontal expansion, and C-shaped (vertical) and Z-shaped (tiered) brackets for vertical expansion to meet diverse needs. Currently, it only supports two layers, but I will create higher-tier stands soon. Fasteners use a tight fit and can be installed with the aid of a flat surface to assist pressing.
