Description

“Vortex” - Parametric Wall Art

Feel the pull of “Vortex”, a sculptural artwork that captures the energy of a swirling current. Its intricate composition of hexagonal pyramids evokes a sense of motion and depth. The play of light across the textured surface creates a mesmerizing effect, inviting you to explore its intricate details. "Vortex" is more than just wall art – it's a dynamic presence that transforms your space.

113 pyramids - print each plate once.

Split into 5 colours - no AMS required.

450 x 410 x 86mm

Each piece is numbered, please follow the layout below (viewed from the top). Pyramids point in a clockwise direction. Suggest you ‘test fit’ the layout before finally glueing in place, ensuring pieces are well-aligned and tightly together.

Draw two pencil lines, one vertical (~38cm), one horizontal (~42cm), which intersect in the middle of your mounting board/frame.

Piece “6.0” is centered over the intersection, with its vertices aligned with the vertical center-line. Due to the orientation of the pyramids, I recommend working along the vertical centre-line first, in the following order:

6.0

5.7, 6.7

5.1, 6.1

5.8

5.2

4.9, 5.9

4.3, 5.3

etc.

Fits nicely in a 50cm IKEA Sannahed frame.
