Can Koozies - Drink Koozies | Collection - MakerWorld: Download Free 3D Models
This is a relatively simple, plain, single-color design of a 3d-printable Koozie for your 16oz canned beverage (ala a Tall Boy).
This model includes a print profile that has a handle. Supports are enabled but should not be required for the inside of the koozie, only the handle. They are very easy to simply snap off.
It is a perfect fit as demonstrated by the uploaded gif:

Does it work? Does it keep the can cool?
The simplest answer is yes. I kept a can out of the fridge and inside the koozie for approximately 5 and a half hours and it remained cold to the touch and cool to drink. Admittedly, this is not the most scientific of tests. I ordered a temperature reader and attempted to measure the difference between a can in the koozie and one outside the koozie over the course of time. The can inside the koozie went from 63.3° F at 1800 to 68.6° F at 2000 (2 hours) while the can without a koozie went from 63.3° F at 1800 to 71.9° F at 2000 (2 hours). This result shows that the can koozie kept a can 3.3° colder after a two-hour period.
However, the koozie is designed with function in mind to keep the can cool. The inside of the koozie is l ribbed with triangular features that allows the can to have minimal points of contact with the koozie itself. This greatly reduces the amount of thermal conduction (heat transfer) from outside sources (such as your hand) that can reach and warm the can. The handle itself also provides an even greater reduction of thermal conduction.
The ribbed design also provides two additional benefits via the creation of small air pockets along the height of the can. The air pockets are able to trap cold air that escapes from the can and hold that colder temperature closer to the can itself. Additionally, the air pockets cause an effect that allows the can to slowly slip in and out of the koozie - this creates a situation where the can becomes very pleasing to insert and prevents it from easily falling out from any quick or rapid movements (see the gif above).

I have also designed and uploaded variations of this design for different can sizes.
