Steampunk M.E.R.V. Griffin

A Steampunk Griffin created from a 2d image using Google Gemini and 3d model generation using Backflip AI.

I decided it needed a name so came up with the acronym M.E.R.V - Mechanically Enhanced Retro VTOL Griffin - or M.E.R.V. Griffin. Ouch…

It's been printed on a Bambu A1 and a Flashforge Adventurer 5M with several colors of PLA filament. I spent a lot of time and tinkering working on a profile that allowed the supports to come off relatively easily. Even so be gentle. Try cutting them in smaller pieces with snips.

The color version was printed with “LOVOON 3D Tri-Colors Silk PLA Red Yellow Blue”.  It's a little brittle so take extra care with removing the supports and with the model itself. Results may vary depending on the nozzle and bed temperatures of your filaments as well as printing speed.
