Description

I designed these Pain & Panic wings and headband toppers for my wife and me to wear at Disneyland as part of our Hercules-themed costumes. I wanted something that looked great but was also practical for a day in the park.

The wings attach using a magnetic system, which helps hide the connection point on a shirt while making them easy to remove—super helpful for getting in and out of rides or navigating crowds. The Pain & Panic headband toppers add the finishing touch, bringing these mischievous characters to life.

Note: Not everything in the pictures is 3D printed—some parts were handmade or purchased separately to complete the look.

Hope you love this design as much as we do!

Additional non-printed items required:

  • Neodymium Magnets, Magnetized Through Thickness, 3/16" Thick, 1/4" OD (Qty 40)
    • These should be glued into place with super glue (cyanoacrylate)
  • ¾" wide elastic bands to secure wing base plates
  • Panic's eyes (we sewed our own from scratch)
  • Head bands (about 7 mm thickness - we got ours from Target)

Warning - Neodymium magnets are powerful and can pinch your fingers if you are not careful. They are meant to securely hold the props in place.
