Description

This model uses bearings from https://makerworld.com/en/models/473167?from=search#profileId-383170 , not included in this file. You will need to print 4 of the bearings for this model.

I designed this to be as snag proof as possible, by modelling the top lid as close to the bottom without causing any interference to the movement. It spins nicely on the printed bearings, big shoutout to @Tassesin for his awesome design. If possible, print the 4 bearings on a smooth plate. Once removed, I recommend rolling them  for at least a minute in order to free them up.

Push the bearing pegs into the bearings until it looks even on both sides. I found that inserting the bearing pegs into the base with the printed surface facing up or down, allows them to slide in and out with ease. If you prefer for the bearings and pegs to stay firmly in place, I suggest turning the printed surface of the peg to the left or right.

The rectangle spike peg is designed to fit snug, some very slight filing of the edges may be in order. I also recommend sanding the very tops of the yarn spikes to prevent it from catching on your material.

This might be able to print on the A1 mini if the large spike is printed diagonally. Otherwise, it can be scaled down (on the Z axis only) to make it fit. I didn't add the profile for the A1 mini, as I was unable to test it myself.

Please let me know if you run into any issues, or have any questions. I hope you enjoy it!
