I've been searching for a way to mount my 16-inch portable monitor onto my Skadis.

My requirements are straightforward:

Adjustable spatial positioning, adjustable portrait/landscape orientation, and adjustable tilt.

Disclaimer: A small photography tripod head is required to achieve the monitor placement shown in the images.

The first component of my design is the Skadis mount.

(Utilize the support structures within the print file to mitigate any observed wobble or warping)

The second adaptation, derived from the original model, incorporates a perforation for a ¼” screw, commonly used with quick-release plates in photography; I employed a 20cm screw.

Thanks to the tripod head, integrating any photographic accessories becomes feasible!

Compared to metallic articulating arms, this solution offers significant cost savings while maintaining equivalent strength :)

I have also designed a Skadis module for the front end of this system, link
