My new Rehau door with its original base (cover / hardware) was slightly too thick, leaving only a few millimeters of the cylinder protruding. Wanting to install my Nuki was quite problematic; the 3M adhesive system didn't inspire confidence; after a few months and temperature variations, it was already detaching.
