Description

I made a filament holder specifically for Amazon YASHE 3,7 cereal boxes. I prefer these boxes because they don’t have the narrower section on one end.

My holder includes a desiccant box and a mount for the often used round hygrometers (both: vertical snaps and 30 degree angled snaps).

Amazon YASHE box: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0CPNYJ44R

Amazon Hygrometer: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07JG9QZ2B

The desiccant box can hold about 50g of silica beads.

The base of my holder is designed to sit flush on the bottom of the YASHE boxes.

The intake for the spool is chamfered to help easy insertion of your spool.

Supports come off easily and cleanly for me, see the included pictures.

Max spool width: ca. 68.5mm

Max spool diameter: ca. 202mm, maybe a bit more

The desiccant box has a slide lid with a snap lock. The lid sits quite tight because I wanted to prevent accidentally spilling silica beads everywhere. If it holds too well for youjust sand/ file down the snap and/ or the chamfer.

BTW if you like my storage labels: These are “Favorite Filament Sample” by GlennovitS 3D printed in dual color for better readability. I designed holders for these samples to slide them in and take them out as needed:
