Description

This modified spool holder for the Bambu Lab X1/X1C ensures smooth filament feeding and is especially beneficial for flexible materials like TPU. The integrated roller runs on ball bearings, minimizing resistance and preventing uneven filament tension that can cause print issues.

The design utilizes the original spool holder of the Bambu Lab X1/X1C to ensure maximum stability. At the same time, a wedge connection allows for flexible attachment to a mounting plate, which can be installed both on the wall and directly on the printer. This makes the spool holder perfect for use at home and on the go – ideal for trade shows and events. The hassle of screwing and unscrewing the holder is eliminated, as it can simply be inserted and removed from the mounting plate as needed.

Maximum stability by utilizing the existing spool holder

Tool-free, quick assembly thanks to the wedge connection

Versatile use: mount it on the wall or directly on the printer

Easy transport for mobile use

Required Components

Bearings: Micro Steel Deep Groove Ball Bearings (Ø 19 mm, width 6 mm, inner diameter 6 mm) → Bambu Store:626ZZ Steel -  EA020

Screws: The screws included with the Bambu Lab X1C can be used for mounting

Especially when combined with Smoothy - Y-Splitter and Smoothy-Mount, filament handling and switching between AMS and external feeding becomes a seamless and effortless process.

Tip: For flexible use of the holder, print the file Flexispool_wallmount_flex_V1 twice. One mount goes on the printer, and the other on the wall.

If you only need to relocate the spool holder from the back of the printer to another fixed position, it’s better to use Flexispool_wallmount_fix_V1.
