Description

Please carefully read the assembly instructions in the PDF file, as most of your questions and doubts will be answered there or check the FAQ section ;)

Change log:

19.6.2026

  •  We have added one of the most requested add-ons for the OMMO ring: the low ceiling modification. This add-on is intended for cases where you have a low ceiling and the full ring will not fit.

20.4.2026

  •  Model updated to support Bambu Lab LED strip from the Maker's Supply store. All the cabling and LED controller will fit and can be hidden inside the “LEG Bottom” part.

17.3.2026

  •  New version for larger printers and is compatible with all Bambu Lab H2 series printers. The number of ring segments is reduced from 12 pieces to 6 pieces, and the camera leg is a single piece.
  • Some minor geometry updates to address some occasional print issues.

18.1.2026 - Added the LED-only version of our redesigned OMMO Autodarts ring. So if you just want some lighting for your dartboard, are not interested in the Autodarts scoring system, and you like our redesigned ring, this is the model for you. Look for print profile: OMMO LED ring. Assembly details are in the instruction manual PDF.

You have two options:

  • Single-colour ring – do not print plates 10, 11, and 12.
  • Dual-colour ring with a nice subtle colour line – do not print plates 4, 5, and 6.

6.1.2026 - Some of you have various silencers behind the dartboard, so into the print profile was added two new length for legs, +30mm and +50mm. Can be found in the main print profile: OMMO Autodarts ring

7.12.2025 - complete redesign and release of version 2

As we received a lot of positive feedback on our original design, we decided to sit down again, think about new improvements, and make the whole design even better. So we started completely from scratch. We set three main goals for the new design (and a few extra ones). The must-haves were: no supports at all, an even sturdier ring, and an even cleaner, more pleasant design to look at.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to use PLA-CF?
No, you don’t have to. You can use any PLA or PETG filament you prefer and have good experience with. We used PLA-CF mainly for aesthetic reasons, as the layer lines are less visible.

What LED strip should I use?
If you already have good knowledge about LED strips, you can choose any you like. Our only recommendation is regarding light output: we suggest something between 1000–2000 lumens per meter.

Example you can find here: link, or use the one from BOM list.

Why am I getting warping on some parts?
Warping is a common issue in 3D printing, especially with larger parts. It mainly occurs on open printers or when bed adhesion is not ideal.
Our recommendations:

  • If you print on an open printer, make sure the room temperature is not too low.
  • Ensure you have good bed adhesion.
  • Use a build plate with better adhesion, such as the Bambu Lab Textured PEI (Supertextured) plate.

What camera can I use?

So far these cameras are confirmed by us or other users:

GXIVISION OV9732, OV2710, IMX179 and same for cameras from HBVCAM.

What has changed in the new redesign:

  • no supports at all – even though the previous version needed very little, it was still a pain for some users, especially beginners.
  • a new dual-layer LED ring design – this significantly improves the overall stiffness of the ring. There is also a second benefit for users who prefer to print the model in white filament: the inner ring can be printed in a darker filament to prevent LED light from shining through the ring body. Or you can simply use this approach to customise the overall look of your print.
  • a cleaner design for a better appearance – hidden wall-mounting screws, added optional decoration and colour customisation, and slimmer, more elegant camera mounts.
  • a diffuser for the LED strip – this is optional but recommended. It hides the LED strip, diffuses the light, improves the overall look, and makes the ring even stiffer.
  • a new printable template for mounting the ring on the wall.
  • some improvements in the assembly instructions PDF, based on feedback we received.

Explaining the print profiles:

  • The first profile, named “OMMO Autodarts ring”, is the main profile for printing the whole model. It is split across multiple plates (for 256×256 build plates).
  • The print profile named “OMMO Autodarts ring - dual color” contains the parts used to customise the look of the OMMO Autodarts ring and is mainly for multicolour printing. Changing the colour is very simple, as the coloured parts are created as separate objects in the STL. In your slicer software, search in the objects list for the part named “PAINT ME” and simply change the filament assigned to it.

  • Next, the “Mounting template” is a printable template to help you mount the OMMO Autodarts ring on the wall by marking the holes for screws and cables.

Supplies:

  • For printing, we used Bambu Lab filaments – PLA and PETG. The list is provided at the top.
  • Screws and heat-set inserts are from various hardware stores, but we also tried to list usable alternatives from Maker’s Supply, also shown at the top.
  • For the camera version, we went with one of the most popular options: the OV9732 with a 100-degree angle (the rim around the camera PCB has to be cut off to fit). In the print profiles, also check the “camera size test” profile in case you have a different camera model with similar dimensions. This way, you can test if your camera will fit without wasting a lot of PLA. If it doesn’t fit and you have another commonly used camera for Autodarts, contact us and we will check the possibility of adapting our model.

Hints and Tips:

  • for Autodarts setup, we cover some basic instructions in the PDF file, but we always recommend visiting the Autodarts creator’s page as well.
