Description

This is an experiment with creating mythical/imaginary creatures using AI to generate images and Backflip AI to generate the 3D model.

I asked Google Gemini to create an image of a creature with attributes of both a dragon and a griffin and this is the result.

I used a profile that user @BO92 used to print my Simple Standing Dragon with Wings at 130%. He used a .16mm profile and several changes to speed and support settings that make this model print better. Attribution for the Base which was merged with the dragon model from designer Melic's https://pinshape.com/items/50037-3d-printed-bases-platforms-for-miniatures. User “Melic”.

If there is a small amount of fuzz on the belly of the beast it might be necessary to dial in the nozzle temperature setting for your particular filament. It's easy to remove with some long nose pliers or possible a butane lighter.

Even though the supports come off relatively easily be very careful with the tail tip although I've printed four or five of these and have yet to break it off.

Have fun! It's a six hour print.
