Replacement Clip / Clamp Shoe for the “Lichtblick Nizza” Pleated Blind

Of course, something like this happens on the weekend: the pleated blind hangs crooked, the clip gave up. 😄

Here is a replacement clamp shoe / tension foot for the “Lichtblick Nizza” pleated blind – measured from a broken original part, re-engineered in Fusion, and then printed. In PETG, the clip is even more robust than the original for me (printed with a 0.4 mm nozzle) and fits perfectly.

Please check briefly before printing:
It is best to use the measuring tool in the slicer to ensure the dimensions match your pleated blind (there are simply too many “almost identical” variants).

Two Print Profiles / Orientations

  1. Standing (Standard) – fast & without supports
This is the “go-to” print: uncomplicated, fast, and stable enough for many (including me).

  2. Lying (Stable) – Extra Profile for Maximum Load Capacity
If the clip breaks while standing during clipping/loading, or you want to play it safe:
➡️ There is now an additional print profile “Lying (stable)”.

The clip lies rotated 90° on its short side and is printed with supports only from the print bed. This noticeably increases stability – perfect for pleated blinds that feel more like a “gym workout” when installed. 😄

Material Note

PLA did not work for me – the stress during clipping is nastier than one might think.
PETG (or higher) is mandatory and provided for in the profile accordingly.

“If the clip saves your pleated blind: A make, a like, or a comment about your success story would make me very happy – it also helps others with profile selection 😉”

Update
