Portable Car Cup Holder
Print Profile(1)

Description
Regarding in-car cup holders, I believe that since their purpose is convenience, they should be even more convenient, so I conceived a foldable design. This design is based on the common size of a beverage can.

The entire cup holder is printed in sections, requiring no adhesive for assembly. Simply prepare a rubber band; the size is inconsequential—use two loops for a larger band or two separate bands for a smaller one. This method is far less cumbersome than alternatives. The folding mechanism is integrated seamlessly into the main body, creating a discreet design.
Printing requires minimal configuration; default settings suffice. Resolution can be adjusted according to preference; I printed mine at 0.12mm resolution.
Key Considerations:
1. PETG or ABS filament is recommended for its resilience, high-temperature resistance, and reduced susceptibility to degradation, making it ideal for automotive applications.
2. The two clips on the back of the cup holder are designed to attach to the air vent blades. Two lengths are provided; select the appropriate one—I recommend the longer option, inserting it directly into the air vent to mitigate movement caused by the oscillating blades, though the final choice depends on practical application.
3. There's no point 3; it's truly that simple: print, add a rubber band, and no glue is required.
