Description

I made this stop block to make it easier on me to safely crosscut wood on my table saw.  I had seen other stop blocks out there, many of which are ½" ot ¾".  For me, it's easier to add an inch to my measurements, and also gives me a little more room to help avoid kickback.  I have also seen (and used myself) 1-2-3 blocks clamped to the fence.  This works well, but takes longer.  This block friction fits to your t-glide fence, leaves a small gap at the bottom to ensure sawdust does not impact your measurements, and even gives a little bin that you can use to store small parts.

I included 2 widths in the profile, 1" (the original) and 2".  I have been using the 1" size for years now, and it has worked well.  The 2" size is to give a larger parts bin as well as more room for a tight friction fit onto the fence.
