Component Parts
- AKKO MX Switches - LINK
- I recommend the cheapest ones, as they cannot be seen (typically $13 for 45 pieces)!
Assembly
- Print plates 1 & 2
- Cut the stem supports off the keys with side cutters
- Press the switch into the stem
- Ensure smooth motion
- Pull the switch off if it sticks and clean up the cuts a little better
- The switch will operate freely if assembled correctly
- Press switch/key into the base
- Repeat steps 2-4 for all five buttons
