Changfeng-class Destroyer Model (1:350)

Changfeng-class destroyerswere a class of destroyers procured from Germany by the Qing Dynastyduringthe late Qing Dynasty's naval rebuilding period. However, before their launch,the Xinhai Revolutionhad broken out, and when they returned to China, they were inherited and received by theRepublic of China. All three ships of this class experienced the turbulent period of warlord conflicts in the early years of the Republic of China. The lead ship, Yu Zhang (originally Changfeng), was lost in 1932 after running aground. In 1937,the Second Sino-Japanese Warbegan, and the remaining two ships, Jiankang (originally Fu Bo) and Tong'an (originally Fei Yun), were lost. Later, they were repaired by the Japanese army and transferred to the puppet regime. In 1944, Tong Chun (originally Tong'an) defected. In 1945, after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Jiankang returned to the Chinese navy, and was decommissioned in 1947.
