Description
This is a dehumidification riser for AMS, which, when used with Polydryer, can easily achieve overall dehumidification of the AMS.
The model seamlessly integrates from front to back and side to side, minimizing corners, maximizing ventilation, enabling faster printing, and saving filament. Installation is easy and requires no hardware.
Functional Description: Because Polydryer has built-in dehumidification vents (located on both sides of the unit, see image below), additional vents are unnecessary.
Due to Polydryer's lower heating power, you can wrap the AMS with a cloth to increase the internal temperature of the AMS and enhance dehumidification.
It requires a longer runtime than single-plate dehumidification.
Measured dehumidification effect: 12 hours on setting 3, humidity dropped from 36% to 10%, with a temporary increase to 53% (due to moisture from the filament and desiccant being released).
It's recommended to remove and dry the old desiccant before use and add new desiccant after the process to absorb residual moisture. After 24 hours, the humidity had dropped to 6%!
