Description

A Versatile Bin for Cookies, Makeup, & More!

  • “Corcelain” Compatible (Square Series)
  • Optimized Supports
  • Maker's Supply Hardware
    • Everything except the wheels can be printed prior to obtaining hardware; so just add the hardware to your next filament order to get free shipping!
  • Captive Bearings for Wheels (pause for insertion)
    • The wheels are a built-in fidget spinner! Don't believe me?? I challenge you NOT to spin the wheels when it's sitting in front of you (I guarantee everyone who picks it up will spin the wheels! Usually before they open the lid). You can't not spin them. You will spin them. You must spin them. The wheels MUST BE SPUN.
    • My wheels are printed with TPU for AMS. I recommend using TPU as it just adds an extra somethin' somethin' to the print.

Corcelain Vessel is installed with a few easy twists of the Finger Gear on the back:

(You can also use a lighter on this one; but be careful of cooking the plastic and your finger!)

  •  Assemble the Drive Gear + Interface Screw as follows:

  •  Assemble the Finger Gear as follows: (I forgot to video this step, I'll add it later)

Insert 2x5x3mm Oil Impregnated Bronze Bushings - ED001 into the finger gear (shown below)

Then insert the 2x30mm Stainless Steel Dowel Pin - DA013 through the hole in the bin cavity:

Surely, I’m not the only one who hesitates before throwing a wet cotton swab (or any other potentially biohazard refuse) into a 3D printed garbage can…? Corcelain offers a solution to embed a porcelain (washable, sterilizable, water-tight) vessel into the receptacle!

This was a lot of fun to design, assemble, and use!  Guaranteed to be the perfect statement piece for your vanity.

Even if you don't plan to print this design, please consider leaving a ‘like’! You made it this far, you must've been at least entertained😉

ENJOY!

Also check out the “Sugar Bin”!

If you want to nod at the Japanese Corcelain origin, feel free to print the lid from the “Sugar Bin” for your “Vanity Bin” (it has a chonmage)!

Just want a nice garbage can with customizable inserts? Here you go.👍
