Upgrade for Diesel Heater
This is an upgrade for powering a diesel heater using a Parkside 20V battery or a 230V power supply.
The box includes a 12V 10A power supply, a low-voltage battery module, and a step-down module to convert 20V to 12V. All necessary components for assembly are listed below. Wiring is simple, and you can follow the provided wiring diagram for guidance.
Powering from the Battery:
- Connect the battery in parallel.
- Battery → Low-voltage module (set to 16V) → DC step-down module (set to 12V) → Switch → 12V input.
Powering from the 230V Power Supply:
- Connect the output from the IEC socket to the power supply.
Finally, connect both 12V outputs into a single cable, which then connects to the diesel heater’s power input.
!!!!! On layer 31 of the plate with the battery adapter, add a pause. During the pause, insert an M4 nut inside the model. I use this method because, for me, it’s a cheaper and easier way to create a thread in plastic compared to heating a nut.
