🌙 Night Owl – HueForge Bookmark Edition

Mysterious. Minimal. Mesmerizing.

This was the first bookmark I designed in HueForge — and it’s still one of the most loved. The Night Owl sits perched beneath a quiet moon, with just enough detail to pull you in, but not so much that it loses its elegant simplicity.

It’s designed for any single-extruder printer, and doesn’t require an AMS. A second print profile is available with pre-set pause layers, making it easy to achieve perfect filament swaps on almost any machine.

📐 Model Details

• Size: 42 mm x 145 mm
• Layer Height: 0.08 mm
• Infill: 100% (required for clean color contrast)
• Supports: None
• Brim: Optional but recommended for better adhesion
• Base Layer: 0.16 mm

🎨 Filaments Used (4 colors)

Use any opaque PLA in roughly these shades:

• Black – deep, opaque black for the silhouette
• Blue – rich mid / dark blue
• Purple – vibrant purple accent
• Yellow – warm yellow for the moon and highlights

⏸️ Manual Color Change Instructions (AMS-Free Profile)

This model is fully AMS-free when using the alternate print profile with pause layers.
Use the following filament swap points (based on 0.08 mm layer height):

• Start with Black
• At Layer #10 (0.80 mm): switch to Blue
• At Layer #14 (1.12 mm): switch to Purple
• At Layer #19 (1.52 mm): switch to Yellow
• Print Yellow through to the final layer (Layer #25 ≈ 2.00 mm)

✅ No AMS or multi-material system needed — just pause and swap when prompted.
