Utility knife Commando

I created this knife aiming for a reliable and durable pocket tool. In keeping with this philosophy, I minimized parts prone to stress during use or blade replacement. The closing frame is secured by four M3 screws, ensuring uncompromising clamping.

The design embodies the same simplicity and practicality, yet provides excellent handling. Perfectly gripable for both precision and heavier cuts, thanks to a subtle bevel on the head that significantly enhances grip.

The tolerances and slide action reflect the robust design; initial operation might feel stiff, but it will soon settle, providing a satisfying opening and closing action. The uploaded files include a smoothed surface where the slide travels. This is recommended for optimal smoothness.

I chose to leave the back “clean” to allow for easy personalization—add your name by uploading the profile with your name and replacing the pre-set TEXT.

All you need are four countersunk 3x6 screws.
