Description
I needed something to silence the P1S motherboard fan while printing. This cover remix helps reduce the decibels a little.
Changes I made to the original for this remix design:
- I made the outside cover flat (where as the original had a cut out), by increasing the outside wall thicker to reduce the noise.
- I put two 45 degree angle cuts near the bottom opening vents.
- I increased the size for magnets to 8mm wide x 2mm depth. The original was 6mm wide x 2.5mm depth.
Assembly:
- Gently tap in 6 or 4 magnets (Bambulabs sells on their website, see link to purchase), into the backside hole cutouts. FYI These magnets will go in snug, so take your time.
- Only one bottom vent cover magnet hole needs superglue.
- Gently place the cover over the back left middle vent opening where the motherboard fan is.
