Description
Impress your friends at Easter time or any time with these stunning decor eggs.
They are designed to fit commonly and affordably available fairy lights (7 ft strands with two replaceable CR2032 batteries – the same batteries as most LED tea lights, including those in the Maker's Beginner Kit).

The exaggerated fuzzy skin creates tiny pinprick holes in the shell, for a really cool effect. I've finely tuned the design and fit for style and ease of operation. You can access the switch without opening the egg, and you can replace the batteries without removing the battery case from the base.
My tip for getting the lights into the egg is to arrange the wire in a loose nest, a little bigger than the egg, and then push it in. You can play with the arrangement a bit once they're inside as well.
