Description

IVAR Wooden Monitor Stand – Functional & Sustainable Design

This model was born from the idea of repurposing unused IKEA IVAR shelves into a practical and stylish monitor stand.

🔹 Compatibility: Designed for 30 cm deep shelves, available in 40 cm and 80 cm widths.
🔹 Smart Design:
16 cm height, ideal for ergonomic comfort.
✔ Uses original IKEA pegs for a secure and easy assembly.
Interlocking structure, requiring no printing supports, minimizing material waste.
Dowel joints with enough tolerance to compensate for slight wood warping.
Rear reinforcement to improve lateral stability, attachable with a screw and optional washer.

💡 Successfully tested on the 40 cm wide version, it reliably supports a heavy 32” monitor with stand, even without the screw.

🖨 Printed in Bambu Lab PLA Matte with TPU Matte for the rubber feet. (You can also use standard off-the-shelf rubber feet instead of printing them.)

The design is a work in progress, with potential updates and customizable reinforcements.
Happy printing! 🚀
