Hello everyone!
INTRODUCTION
I want to present this nozzle brush that I created for my printer to eliminate all the oozing that forms near the nozzle.
ITEM
The model is very simple, the curved shape helps cleaning by improving visibility of what we are doing, without tilting the head into uncomfortable positions. Also, the slight curvature makes the rod slightly flexible, to prevent us from overdoing the pressure on the nozzle.
The dimensions are very small: 150mm x 20mm and 10mm thick (excluding the rubber insert). The model has a small 1.5mm recess to facilitate the insertion of the silicone rubber (heatbed nozzle wiper), which will handle the cleaning. The rubber is the one used for the Bambu Lab A1 and A1 mini. I personally bought it via AliExpress and the dimensions are: 27.6mm x 5.5mm. The recess was made faithfully to these measurements, so make sure that those of Bambu Lab or other manufacturers have these dimensions before printing the model (tolerance of 0.1mm).
Printing requires no special attention. The parameters are all standard Bambu Studio settings, the only modification I made is for the infill texture which is gyroid instead of grid.
The model is easy and quick to print, no supports are needed and printing the single object takes just 16 minutes!
The object in the photo was printed with a Bambu Lab P1S with eSun PLA Cold White filament.
