Description

This is my fourth version of a hat rack. I have previously loved the original classic hat stand by mumbles, but got tired of my hats falling out whenever I wanted to pick a hat in the middle of the set. So I had several iterations and eventually landed on this design that firmly grips the brim of the hat so you can pull any one hat out without knocking the others down.

It holds 6 hats but could be modified in your slicer to accommodate any number of hats if you wish. I printed my tests in PLA and they all worked great, but I'm sure PETG would be fine too.

There are 3 different variations:

  1. 30mm Wide - This is the recommended variation and  is designed to be attached to the wall with a command strip
  2. 20mm Wide - Slightly thinner just to save on filament cost and, while it doesn't grip the brim of the hat quite as well, it seems to work fine in most cases.
  3. 20mm Wide w/ Screws – This is the same as #2 but has holes for screws if you wish to mount it that way.
