Description

Fruit Fly Trap that really works - guaranteed.  The broad funnel guides them to the smell of the cider vinegar.  They get down into the funnel easily but once inside are unable to get back into the small opening because it's too close to the liquid.  Fruit flies can't fly straight up vertically.

If you find it useful let me know.  I'm not doing this to make money but it's great to know someone likes your work.

Just add a little bit of red-cider-vinegar to the mason jar, fill the jar to about a quarter inch below the opening in the funnel (not touching).  Put the funnel topper on the mason jar and place the whole thing on the counter near where the fruit flies hang out.  Give it a few hours for them to follow the scent and you'll be stunned by how many you catch.   Change the cider every couple of days, and leave the trap out until at least 3 days after you stop seeing new ones.

NOTE:  Best way to change out the cider is to take the jar, still with the funnel on top, outside away from the door, THEN open it and dump it.  Any living fruit flies will then be OUTSIDE not inside.
