Description
Should you or a family member require treatments such as insulin injections or blood glucose monitoring, the waste generated during treatment and care, contaminated with blood, bodily fluids, or excrement, is classified as medical waste. This waste necessitates careful management and storage for centralized disposal, thereby mitigating environmental and personal health risks.
Home management of medical waste tends to be inconsistent; therefore, I have designed this medical waste collection box, a 10cm×10cm×10cm cube. A one-way aperture at the top allows the insertion, but not the removal, of medical waste such as blood glucose test strips, lancets, and bandages. Once full, the entire box can be discarded or delivered to a medical waste recycling facility.
If you or your family have needs such as insulin injection and blood sugar measurement. In the process of treatment, nursing and other activities, this kind of waste produced by the pollution of patients' blood, body fluids and excreta is called medical waste. Such articles should be properly managed and stored, so as to facilitate centralized destruction and avoid pollution to people and the environment.
In family life, the treatment of medical waste is often random, so I designed this medical waste collection box, which is a 10cm×10cm×10cm cube box. There is a one-way door at the top of the box, through which medical wastes such as blood glucose test paper, blood collection needle and band-aid can enter but not exit. When the garbage is full, the whole box can be thrown away together, or sent to the medical waste recycling center.
